Although it didn't come forward with it at Computex, Asus is preparing to expand its Republic of Gamers line-up with a motherboard based on the Intel P55 chipset. Seen below, the Maximus III Formula will rush in to take the uber-high-end Socket 1156 segment and provide a heap of power phases, four dual channel-ready DDR3 memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots for multi-GPU setups and a secsy cooling system.

The upcoming motherboard also features one eSATA and six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Power, Reset, and Clear CMOS buttons, plus, of course, a large number of overclocking perks. The Maximus III Formula should make its way into stores in later Q3 so start saving up.
