After the 'SuperComputer' and 'Deluxe' models, ASRock is now gearing up to release its third X58-powered motherboard, the X58 Extreme. Already showcased at Computex earlier this month, the new board has a V8 Power Phase design, support for Core i7 processors, six DDR3-2000 memory slots, and three CrossFireX/SLI-ready PCI-Express x16 slots (four on the SuperComputer and Deluxe models).

The X58 Extreme also features the same cooler used on its predecessors, and boasts six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, 7.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, one eSATA connector, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, Instant Boot, plus EuP (energy-using product) compliance. The motherboard is expected to start shipping very soon.

For more info about the X58 Extreme check out ASRock website.
