Lenovo was first to announce a ION-based netbook, the IdeaPad S12, but more ION is on the way, with Samsung being reported to be working on a 11.6-inch netbook powered by the Nvidia-promoted platform. Named N510, the upcoming ION machine features a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a 1.66 GHz Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and DirectX 10-supporting GeForce 9400M integrated graphics.

The upcoming portable PC also boasts a 3-in-1 card reader, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 6-cell battery. From what's available it seems the N510 will cost between 550 and 600 Euro when it is expected to arrive later next month.
