As just re-announced, LG Electronics is preparing to roll out a sexy new LED backlit monitor under the name of W2286L. Seen below, the widescreen LCD is just 20mm thick, has a shiny black bezel, consumes up to 40% less power than other 22-inch models, and has an Auto Bright function which will automatically adjust brightness depending on the lighting around the monitor.

The W2286L also has a Cinema mode, comes with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels and two HDMI outputs, plus a DVI port. The new monitor is expected to cost around or just over 300 Euro and will be soon followed by a 24-inch, Full HD model.
