With less love to give AMD, Gainward is reported to be gearing up to release some new Nvidia-based graphics cards, namely two GeForce GTS 250 'Green' Edition models. The energy efficient G92b-equipped cards feature 128 Processing Cores, a 256-bit memory interface, come with 512 or 1024 MB of GDDR3 memory, and consume less power than other GTS 250s by simply having lower frequencies.

Disappointing as it may be, Gainward's 'Green' GTS 250 cards are expected to have GPU, shader and memory clocks of 700, 1512 and 2000 MHz, respectively, as opposed to the reference models which are set at 738/1836/2200 MHz. The cards should become available next week.
