A-Data is just about to update its flashy storage solution offer with a new line-up of 2.5-inch SSDs, the S592. Coming in 32, 63, 128 and 256GB capacities, the solid state drives have a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, (likely 64MB ) onboard mobile SDRAM serving as cache, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory chips, and read and write speeds topping 250 and 170 MB/s (230/150 MB/s for the 32 and 64GB models).

The S592 family is backed by a two-year warranty, and has already started to appear in stores, with the 32, 64 and 128GB SSDs being priced at about 122, 172 and 317 Euro, respectively.
