Arctic Cooling is gearing up to release an updated version of the Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler, one that has added support for Socket LGA 1156 processors. Seen below, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 measures 104 (L) x 58 (W) x 126.5 (H) mm, weights 520 grams, and features a 42-fin aluminum heatsink, six copper heatpipes, and a 92mm fluid dynamic bearing fan working at speeds between 900 and 2500 RPM (rotations per minute).

The new Freezer also comes with pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste, provides support for Intel LGA 775, 1156, 1366 and AMD Socket 939, AM2, AM2+, AM3 processors, and is backed by a 6-year warranty. The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is set to become available in the next few weeks at $28.90 / 20.90 Euro (without VAT).
