Dell's Vostro family of business-oriented PCs has now gotten a little bigger with the introduction of the 14.1-inch Vostro 1014, 1088 and 15.6-inch 1015 laptops. Both the 1014 and 1015 can be equipped with an Intel Celeron or Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, have GMA X4500MHD integrated graphics, a 5400 RPM HDD with a capacity of up to 320GB, an 8x DVD writer, a 2 megapixel camera, a 5-in-1 card reader, and a 4- or 6-cell battery.

The Vostro 1088 comes with pretty much the same specs as its siblings described above but packs a bigger graphics punch as it is equipped with a Radeon HD 4330 512MB. All three laptops can be pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Basic and Business, with the 1015 and 1088 models also having the option of Vista Home Premium, Windows 7, FreeDOS and Ubuntu.

The new Vostro laptops can now be found in parts of Europe at prices starting at £255.
