After keeping quiet for a month Thermaltake is back today with a new announcement, that of the Pure Silence ISGC series 80mm case fan. Named ISGC Fan 8, the fresh spinner has a hydro dynamic bearing providing a life expectancy of 50,000 hours, includes specially designed fan blade edges that improve air flow by 15% and reduce noise by 3%, and works at speeds between 800 and 1600 RPM (rotations per minute).

According to Thermaltake, the fan has a maximum air flow of 24.4 CFM and a sound out put of up to 18.2 dBA. The ISGC Fan 8 is set to become available around mid-September and cost about $12.
