
Italy's own Santech is officially getting into the ultra-thin game with the upcoming introduction of a Intel CULV-based LV1 13.3-inch laptop. Seen below, the portable machine is 1.8cm thick, weights as low as 1.65kg, has a top screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels, and is available with a 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo SU3500 or a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo SU9600 processor, at least 2GB of RAM (up to 4GB ), a 160/320/500GB HDD or 80/160GB SSD, and Intel GMA X4500HD integrated graphics.
The new laptop also packs Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi and can be equipped with Bluetooth 2.1, a 3G modem, an 8-cell battery and either Windows XP or Vista. The Santech LV1 will start shipping on September 21st and is
available for pre-order at prices going up from 681 Euro.
