Like any good new OS, Windows 7 will see to the arrival of an entire line-up of PCs powered by it, and according to a leaked roadmap, that line-up will include at least three Asus Eee PCs. Apparently, Asus' plan is to introduce the Windows 7-loaded 10-inch Eee PC 1005HA-M, 1005HA-P and 12-inch 1201N around the end of October at $349, $399 and $499, respectively.
Both the 1005HA models are said to come with Windows 7 Starter, have 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and a 6-cell battery, with the $349 model boasting an Atom N270 CPU, while the more expensive one comes with the N280. The Eee PC 1201N would be quite a treat as it is supposed to have an Atom N270 CPU, 1GB DDR2 memory, a 250GB HDD, a 6-cell battery, a GeForce 9400M IGP (ION-based machine) and Windows 7 Home Premium. Hopefully this Windows 7 refresh for the Eee PC family turns out to be true.
