Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has just announced the 16-inch N61 and 17.3-inch N71, two multimedia-loving laptops based on Intel platforms. Both new portable PCs have LED-backlit screens and pack a Core 2 Quad or Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 200M series graphics card and two Altec Lansing speakers which make use of Asus' proprietary SonicMaster technology that features a dedicated resonance space arrangement providing sound layering for crisp and crystal clear audio reproduction.
Detailed below, the N61 and N71 come pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows 7 (Home Basic/Home Premium/Professional/Ultimate) which suggests we won't see them in shops until the second half of October, at least not the Win7 models.
