Asus is bringing more Dolby to the masses with the HP-100U a fresh pair of headphones which it claims is a "total audio solution" for both PC and Mac users. According to its maker, the headset comes in four colors - black, white, silver and red, and features leatherette earcups, an elastic headband providing a comfortable fit for long periods of time, plus support for DirectSound, EAX 2.0, Open AL acceleration as well as for four Dolby technologies.



The HP-100U boasts 40mm drivers, has a frequency response of 20 ~ 20KHz, a sensitivity of 117+- 3dB at 1mW / 1KHz, and is bundled with stand-alone microphone with noise-canceling capabilities.
