NEC is currently gearing up to add a new Intel CULV (consumer ultra-low voltage) ultra-thin laptop to its offer, the LaVie M. The upcoming machine is powered by Windows 7 Home Premium, has a 13.3-inch (1366x768) screen and is equipped with a 1.20 GHz Celeron SU2300 CPU, 2/4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive.

Expected to debut in Japan in early November, the LaVie M will come in black, white and red, and provide a battery life of up to 8.5 hours.
