Origin Storage has announced the expansion of its Data Locker series of PIN encrypted external hard drives with two new, high-capacity models, one providing 750GB and one 1TB of storage space. The drives measure 3.13" (W) x 5.11" (D) x 0.91" (H), have USB 2.0 connectivity, a one touch erase function, hardware based malware detection/deflection, and military grade AES encryption - 128bit for the Data Locker Pro and 256bit for the Data Locker Enterprise.

"We are proud to be first to market with a 1TB portable hardware encrypted drive that offers our customers the flexibility required in today's mobile world," said Andy Cordial, Managing Director at Origin Storage. "Data Locker is gaining a lot of recognition and the increase in capacity coupled with the new pricing structure will ensure customers demands continue to be exceeded."

According to their maker, the 750GB and 1TB Data Locker Pro AES drives cost £299 / $488 and £399 / $651, respectively (without VAT).
