
Acer, the world's second-largest PC maker, is currently prepping the S243HLbmii, a new 24-inch LCD monitor which features a slim (14.5mm) profile and makes use of white LED backlighting to consume just 17.2W during operation. The energy-efficient display has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2ms response time, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (8,000,000:1 DCR), a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, and two 1W built-in speakers.
The S243HLbmii boasts one D-Sub and two HDMI outputs, and should hit stores in the coming weeks priced as low as 270 Euro.
