Noctua is keeping its release wave going with the announcement of an updated version of its NH-U9B cooler. Dubbed NH-U9B SE2, the new solution features the nickel-plated NH-U9B heatsink with a copper base and four heatpipes, and two NF-B9 92mm fans which have an SSO-Bearing and work at up to 1600 RPM (rotations per minute).
Noctua's cooler also includes the SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system which provides support for Intel LGA 1366, 1156, 775 and AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3 processors, and is bundled with the NT-H1 high-grade thermal compound.
"Many customers who are looking for a premium quality quiet cooler but can't accommodate our larger models are choosing our NH-U9B, which offers performance levels close to its bigger brothers while being much more compact,", explains Mag. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO "Given the ongoing popularity of the NH-U9B, we've decided to create a special edition that comes with a second NF-B9 fan and provides support for the latest CPUs."
Backed by a 6-year warranty, the NH-U9B SE2 will reach stores very soon at $54.90 / 46.90 Euro.
