iiyama is promising to release the ProLite T2250MTSB1 multi-touch LCD monitor in Europe next month so more people will get to enjoy the Windows Touch experience even with their older desktop. The upcoming 21.5-inch display makes use of two optical sensors to track finger or pen movement on its surface, has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness of 270 cd/m2.

The ProLite T2250MTSB1 also has D-Sub and DVI ports, two 1W speakers, and is planned to hit stores with a price tag of 289 Euro.
