Asus is going to show the ION platform more love as of next month when its shiny new EeeBox EB1501 nettop is planned to hit stores. Coming in black or white, the EB1501 packs a 1.6 GHz Atom (dual-core) 330 CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a GeForce 9400 IGP, a slot-in DVD writer, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

The nettop offers D-Sub and HDMI outputs, has Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi, a 2-in-1 card reader, is bundled with a VESA mounting kit, and is expected to debut on December 7th with a starting price of $479.
