Several months ago, I installed build 4051 (leaked version of the one released to hardware developers at the HEC).

Several months ago I uninstalled build 4051, because there were no drivers which would get my ethernet card to work. No internet = no Longhorn for me.

I did dual boot with it for a few days and tinkered around with stuff. Some of it looked good, but it was obviously not long out of the starting blocks - which is fair enough since it was an alpha build after all.

So far, I've used 4051, 4053 and 4074, and I only took off 4074 because the 60-Day activation expired

It's definitely coming along in terms of stability, but some long-standing issues have still yet to be resolved.

I installed 4053, and 4074, 4074 only being taken off because of the Activation.

Since We've heard that Longhorn will now be only in 64-Bit Editions, I'm going to assume Beta 1 will require a P4EMT or an Athlon64.

Hey there:
I think the -- build 4074 is terrible , it is slow , it has no meaning whatever to my app's--
I hope they have something better planned, I realize that we really are not supposed to be rating this product yet , but we have to work on it when it is done .
So we have to suffer thru , I guess . I dont see anything that is worth while here yet?
