These visual styles are taken from Longhorn Transformation Pack 9 with few fixes. This visual styles pack will install the follow visual styles to your system.

You can use UXTheme Multi-Patcher 4.0 to patch uxtheme.dll file to use these visual styles or get StyleXP in case patch fails or you don't know how to use it. You can change visual style by going to Display Properties and click Appearance tab. Select visual style and theme you like and click OK.

I cant download the target Slate file...even using some download manager...

would u pls help? thanks a lot!!

i tried with download manager many times...but it always stops at 87%....

and from the status window of the download manager i use....i can see that the first 13% of the file got problem.....start from 14% til the end of file doesnt have any problem at all....

would u mind to email me the file instead? thank u very much and i love the Slate theme....actually i am using 4.0 now...!!

RIGHT CLICK / Properties / Appearance / STYLE ... then choose whichever you like . Fairly simple enough

Okay. Looks like you are still sucking on Dial Up in your place. In case if my prediction is true then it would be clever to use IDA as your download manager. And try it downloading again and again... Its a pretty big file, and would cause double the time to mail it as well as recieve

ANDYLOGO, I don't want someone who used to rip my work claim me with dumb idea. Check captionbar, KoL use normal Slate but I use recaptured new Slate bar from screenshot. Check captionbutton KoL's has color added and stefanka's is mackind. But mine ported from Longhorn directly and left button is longer than any other Longhorn theme. Check toolbar, mine looks a bit deeper and has curve up at last. Color also looks a bit different for elements. Most of all, they're my friends so if I want to use their work as mainbase, I can ask them for permission easily. I'm sure this won't make you stop flaming because you're blind.

I can't find: activate_pdc.reg and the other 2 reg files in the package. Where can I find them? PLS help!

Oh and something else... I don't like the shell style in the top of the screen. How can I fix it to be in the left side of the screen (like in Luna)???

Try Slate XP. For reg, I removed that.

Excellent VS! Of all the visual styles I've used over the last year or so this is definitely my favorite! Keep up the good work and please keep improving this VS!

WindowsX, it seems when I try to download some of these visual styles, it gives me an empty zip.

It is SO beautiful. Just made a quick review of version 2. Wish list:
- Tahoma version. The current font is rather fade.
- Thin taskbar version.

As for the blue task bar. I find that the Graphite Blue of your Royale Glass looks better than this Luna blue.

This is normal Luna with Jade touches. So I'll keep it as Luna being.

All of these don't work for me. They give me blank downloads.

Actually, I'm not going to make it looks like real Royale. It just looks like Royale accidently but not Royale. However, some stuffs from Royale that could inspire this theme isn't bad anyway.

There're lots of rumour about Slate Refresh in the next Longhorn but from what we've seen that Microsoft left Slate Refresh over and put Jade over Slate. However, I finally found some screenshots from MSDN website and realize it use another Slate which is not the first one or ones from Athens PC. I assume it's Slate Refresh since Athens was too long after news. In my opinion, Slate Refresh looks much better than ugly horizontal gradient. Unfortunately, I can't find any resource for Slate Refresh is I decided to remake it myself. Use it as you please And yet, this theme is not Slate and Royale rendition. It's been done long time ago after PDC 2003 event and before Aero news.

Hey Windowsx great theme, love it but what happened to Aero DWN? I was online earlier and saw it but now it's gone.

It sucks. I removed it because that's not what I should release.

Your screenshot shows an almost transparent theme, yet the one you have for us to download doesnt do that.

Am I missing something here?

Get Glass2k from www.chime.tv I use 20% trans for window and 50% trans for taskbar.

It would be good if the "Common task" in the folders view could reflect file properties like per normal. Eg Filesize, type, name.

are there any plans on a thin taskbar version?

Since it came with 5 sub-styles, I don't think I can add more 5 themes in each VS.
