"Dirk Freytag, the chief operations officer of Adtech, said in a statement that the reason for this trend is probably the different surfing habits of Firefox and IE users, plus the inclusion of an integrated pop-up ad blocker in Firefox"

...maybe, but my accoding to my opinion the main reason -- in the 80 percent of the cases -- is rather the integrated "smart" image blocker. (in FireFox 1.0 final: Tools --> Options --> Web Feature --> Load Images *checked* --> for originating web sites only *checked* )

Which is very nice from the FireFox team, very good for the nerves and the broadband usage of the FireFox user (btw even for me), but - beside the other privacy/security settings - very sad for the advertsing industry.

Good news for the techconnect team: at the setting mentioned above there's a little button with the title "exeption", and i have their URL in this exeption list wink.gif
