Foobar? Tinyplayer? Winamp? Which one rocks your world?
I personally switched to Foobar a year back, and I haven't had reason to reconsider yet, since it provides me with a rock-solid platform to make my 5.1 setup really scream. What do you use to play your music? What works best? Post your opinions below! (and keep it freeware)

Jmz, if more than one software package freezes on playing audio, then perhaps it's a hardware issue... I had a similar problem (random freezes and crashes), and it turned out to be a bad CPU (last time I overclocked anything)...

I haven't tried Foobar (I might just do that

) cause I'm satisfied with Winamp 5; I like Quintessential Player too cause I think it offers a great sound (with the "advanced" tweaks

) compared to Winamp. Peace & Respekt !

Windows Media Player 10 for local file. Mainly due to the great UI. Also Winamp 5, i love the way it has a native shoutcast and webTV library!

I like iTunes for Windows and Jet Audio- I'm not really fussed which one although I think Jet Audio looks better...
Thanks,

WINAMP any day.
you can make it look like windows media player if you like the look (theres nothing else thats good about it anyway

)
you can make it control your ipod if you use itunes (use ml_ipod, google it if you dont know)
and theres plenty of skins and etc.
i also found a plugin that soups up the audio so it sounds great, search winamp for enhancer_017 if you want it, WOW
erm whats foobar

I prefer Winamp and musicmatch jukebox. I think the JUkebox pro is worth the money. What do you think?

I use WMP 10 because I use urge. My only complaint with it is that the urge software is still a bit buggy and slows it down a bit.

I've been using winamp since before it was "nullsoft", I'm not gonna change that now. (it was just freely distributed winamp >.<) back on windows 95...I loved it then, love it now.

Been using Winamp and WMP. I like WMP 11 for stability purposes but Winamp is clearly the faster running program but its not as stable.

Persoanlly I use BS player, if I have to make a choice between the three mentioned above, I'd say winamp, cuz it's the only one I know

But BS pro Player

or the microsoft VLC player, playing almost every available format

These are my choices, next is Media Player 11

I would say you rather like to use the SMILEY program as you type more smileys than words

Anyways Winamp Fan Boy here till the grave
